Montreal street artist, Whatisadam, recently introduced his work to the European street art scene. With paste-ups and stickers all around Paris, his classic imagery now adorns the city's streets.
Canadian imagery inspires much of WIA's work, as seen in his interpretation of the Maple Syrup can and Canadians Hockey player, as well as the inclusion of North American wildlife, such as the mallard, buffalo, wolf, and bear, and deer. However, Whatisadam has a unique approach to the classic motifs through his playful, unique, and compelling interpretations.

Aside from his European début, Whatisadam has still had an active summer. He gained significant attention when his work took over Mont Royal after transforming the park's garbage cans into Maple Sizzurp Cans. Additionally, some of his latest work can be found at the newly-opened Buck15 Espresso Bar, where he painted a mural for the coffee shop. L’imagerie canadienne inspire beaucoup du travail de WIA, comme on peut l'observer à travers son interprétation personnalisée du sirop d'érable et du joueur de hockey. Son travail présente également la faune nord-américaine, y compris le canard colvert, le buffle, le loup, l'ours et le cerf. Whatisadam a une approche unique qui privilégie les motifs classiques, dont il fait une interprétation ludique et novatrice.
En dehors de son introduction en Europe, Whatisadam a eu un été très chargé. Il a gagné beaucoup d'attention après avoir transformé les poubelles du Mont-Royal en géantes cannes de sirop d’érable. En outre, son plus récent travail est exposé au nouveau Buck15 Espresso Bar, où il a peint une murale.
